The fabric, straps and hardware we use are all  Oeko-Tex  Standard 100 accredited meaning high standards have been met to keep this product free of harmful substances! This Tencel Modal and Lyocell is made from re-forested beechwood tree pulp in a closed loop system. Get amongst the good stuff!
